Location: 4101 South 131st Street
This 4.8 acre site is the City's newest park, dedicated on July 13, 2000. With the help of a Community Development Block Grant, federally funded through King County, the City added play equipment and a paved path to provide handicapped access to the park and playground. Park improvements also include irrigation, fencing and a large grassy area. This is a passive, open neighborhood park for families and is located at the site of the old Tukwila Community Center. Future plans may include a picnic shelter, drinking fountain, and additional landscaping.
