Jim began his 4 year term as Mayor on January 1, 2008. He previously served 13 years on the City Council and
nine years prior to that on the Tukwila Planning Commission. Jim and his wife, Carol, have lived at their current
home in Tukwila for 38 years and are proud to have a daughter, son, and four wonderful grandchildren. They are the
owners of HACO Services, a business providing structural drying services for new construction and water damaged
structures and specialized accounting and bookkeeping services.
