What is Walk & Roll?
Have you ever found it challenging to walk or bike in areas of Tukwila? Have you thought about how or where you would like streets, sidewalks and/or trails provided or improved to make room for pedestrians and bicyclists? If you have, then you should get involved in Tukwila's Walk & Roll Plan!
The Walk and Roll Plan is the City of Tukwila’s first nonmotorized plan, and includes projects to improve streets and trails for pedestrians and bicyclists. The ordinance adopting the Walk and Roll Plan and Complete Streets principles was approved by the Tukwila City Council in January 2009. For information on what we’re doing to implement the Walk and Roll Plan, contact one of the project planners listed below.
