Major land use decisions by the City require written notice to adjacent property owners and residents. These decisions include subdivision of land; shoreline development; major land altering (over 500 cubic yards;) variances from standards; conditional uses; design review of new construction and major remodels; unclassified uses; Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code amendments.
This area of our website is intended to inform citizens, who live beyond the immediate radius of a project site, of the potential development. Our Legal/ Public Notices section lists Notices of Application as they occur and provides a timeline for submitting comments.
