Term of office: January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2015.
Time on the council: Elected in November 2011.
Education and Profession: Kate currently works as an IT Project Manager with the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, a Master’s in Business Administration degree in Engineering/Technology Management and a Project Management Professional credential from the Project Management Institute.
Additional Information: Kate has lived in Tukwila for more than 20 years and has been a homeowner in the community since 1992. She has also experienced unique opportunities to live and work in the world community – first as a media relations emissary working to improve eye care in developing countries with ORBIS International, and again in the international business and trade space under the auspices of the Washington Council on International Trade.
